From Ending to Beginning

“Something must end for something to begin.” d.j.
Here we are at the end of another year. It seems time just continues to pass so quickly. And this year has been another tough one, especially considering the state of the world right now.
I read this great passage that I am going to try to practice. The premise is “Looking back and looking forward.” You are supposed to think of three good things that happened to you this past year. This could be as simple as finding inspiration in your job or making a new friend. Try to stop and reflect on how that action created a new and different reaction and changed your path during the year.
Once you think of those three things, try to determine three things you would like to accomplish in the new year. It is not necessarily resolutions, just the path you see yourself going in 2024. This is not one of those pressure filled exercises – it’s more of an aspirational, sky is the limit manifestation. There is something to be said about setting your mind into motion toward the things that are important to you. Your world starts to gravitate to that intention.
For me, this year has once again brought me down a path of meeting new women, or as I like to call warriors, who have decided to take charge of their life. We have built a bond and partnership that I cherish. It also sent me women of my past who I have reconnected with and remembered why we were brought together.
Sometimes life can be a miraculous journey. Often times while it’s happening, we do not see our dots connect until we look backward. So let’s look backward and appreciate the path while looking forward with excitement for what’s to come.
Wishing you all a very healthy and happy holidays season and very happy New Year. Thank you, as always, for trusting me with your very personal journey.
